Abandoned and Starving… But What He Did Next Will Melt Your Heart!

Some dogs teach us the true meaning of resilience, kindness, and love. Gandalf is one of them.

He was found alone on the R515 between Rayton and Cullinan — skin and bones, barely holding on. We don’t know how long he suffered, how many days he went without food, or how he ended up there… but what we do know is that he is one of the sweetest dogs ever to grace us.

From the moment he arrived at our clinic, despite his frail condition, Gandalf greeted us with a wagging tail and trusting eyes. Even while undergoing treatment for Babesia, he never stopped being gentle, and never stopped loving. Every time we pass his kennel, he wags his tail in pure joy, as if to say, “I’m still here, and I still believe in love.”
