After almost 10 years, Button's wait is finally over.

Button first arrived at Wet Nose back in December 2016 after being found wandering the streets with nylon painfully wrapped around his neck. Whatever he had been through before that day, it was clear that life hadn’t been kind to him.

So we took him into our care. Days turned into months. Months turned into years. Families came to meet dogs, kennels emptied, new faces arrived, yet somehow Button was always the one left behind.

Then, almost ten years later, EVERYTHING changed. Someone looked at his grey face, saw the loving soul that had been waiting, and chose him.

He has new furry friends to explore with, plenty of space to stretch his legs, and he has already claimed his favourite spot on the couch. These are the moments that remind us why we never stop believing in our older dogs.

Age has never made them any less deserving of love. They still have so much happiness to give, and sometimes all they need is one person willing to give them a chance.

To Button’s incredible family – thank you for giving this special old boy the retirement he has always deserved.
