At 10 years old, the previous owner was simply over him...

The man who spotted Bossie, a 10-year-old Boston Terrier, running in the middle of the road, knew where he belonged, and safely returned him to his owners. It happened on multiple occasions.

Then one day, when he called again to say Bossie was wandering the streets, the response broke his heart. “Just take the flippen dog, we’re over him.” And that’s exactly what he did.

For the next two months, Bossie was loved. He had two dog friends, a cat to share the house with, and someone who genuinely cared about him. His rescuer tried everything to make it permanent, but the body corporate repeatedly refused permission because there were already too many pets in the home.
With no other choice, he brought Bossie to us. Bossie hasn’t let that get to him – he greets everyone with those big Boston Terrier eyes, happily leans in for bum scratches, and hands out kisses as if he’s trying to thank every person he meets.

If you think Bossie could be the missing piece in your family, please contact us on 082 677 8086 to arrange a meet and greet. If you can’t adopt, please share his story. Sometimes all it takes is one share to help an old dog find the home he deserves.
