Not long ago, Destiny’s world was filled with fear. When she arrived at Wet Nose, she was trembling, broken, and unsure if she could trust anyone ever again. Labelled as “aggressive,” she had suffered unimaginable wounds, both inside and out. But as the weeks passed, Destiny started to show us who she truly is — not a dangerous dog, but a soul who had only ever known hardship.
Today, Destiny is a different dog. She walks beside us now, no longer paralyzed by fear. She leans into our touch, accepting the love she never knew before. She is still cautious, still learning, but there is progress every single day. The once terrified girl who would drop to the floor in submission now wags her tail when she sees familiar faces. She is learning that life is not just about survival — it can also be about joy.
Destiny is also wonderful with other dogs. Despite everything she has been through, she remains gentle and social, happy to share her space and companionship. She would thrive in a home with another calm and loving dog to show her the ropes.
Now, she just needs one final piece to her journey — a home of her own. Destiny will soon be ready for adoption, and she deserves a family that will continue to show her that the world is not something to be feared. She needs someone patient, someone kind, someone who will give her the time she needs to fully trust and blossom into the incredible dog we know she can be.
