He just needs a home that is PERMANENT!

Wagter is 5 years old, and for most of his life, he’s never really had a place that was truly his.

For years, a kind lady tried to help him. She found him homes, gave him chances, but somehow, Wagter always found his way back to her. Not because he was naughty. Not because he didn’t try. It was simply because he just couldn’t fit in with the other big dogs.

Eventually, it became too much. Wagter started jumping the 1.2m fence just to get out. That’s when she made the difficult decision to bring him to us, hoping that we could find him something permanent.

When you meet him, you don’t see a “problem dog.” You see a boy who just wants his person. You see a boy who rolls onto his back for belly rubs like he’s known you forever. A boy who gently places his paw in your hand when you ask.

Wagter is really well-mannered – he doesn’t even walk into the house unless he’s invited. He’s good with kids and loves being around people, but he can get a little playful and strong, so smaller children would just need a bit of supervision during playtime.

He’s not asking for much. Just a home where he doesn’t have to keep leaving. A place where, for once in his life, he gets to stay.
