Just a couple of kilometres down the road from Wet Nose Animal Rescue Centre, two little pups were found huddled together inside a pipe along the R104. Scared, starving, and covered in ticks and fleas, they had clearly endured more than any puppy should.
When they arrived, they were shy, nervous, and desperate for comfort. As soon as we gave them food and water, they devoured it like they hadn’t eaten in days. Their little tails tucked, but their eyes hopeful, it didn’t take long for us to see their resilient spirits shine through.
Carli, the sweet and gentle sister, has already found her forever home, but now Cruz is waiting for his chance. He’s no longer that scared puppy we rescued — he’s a bright, affectionate pup who’s ready to share his love with a family who will cherish him forever.
