Remember the cat with the foot that was already dying?

Remember the cat with the foot that was already dying?

A little while ago, Bossie arrived at our clinic carrying more pain than any cat should ever have to live with. His foot had developed severe necrosis, and by the time he came to us, amputation was the only way to save him and finally give him relief.

Today, he is a completely different cat. You can see it in his face now. The pain that once weighed him down just isn’t there anymore. That constant discomfort he was living with is finally gone, and Bossie has slowly started showing everyone who he really is.

At first, we worried about how he would cope with only three legs, but he’s adjusted really well. Yes, he still has the occasional little wobble while figuring things out, but most of the time he moves around confidently like he’s had three legs his whole life.
He can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but it doesn’t take long before he starts to relax and show his sweet nature. Once he opens up, he’s incredibly friendly. He’s not overly demanding for attention, but he absolutely loves receiving affection and happily soaks up every bit of love given to him.

After everything he has been through, we would love nothing more than to see him curled up safely on someone’s couch, spoiled the way he always deserved to be.

If you would like to give Bossie his forever home, please contact us on 082 677 8086. If you can’t adopt, please share his story. The right person might still be looking for him without even knowing it yet.
