She Fought to Keep Her Puppies Alive, Now She’s Living Her Dream Life!
Remember Petal, the brave mom who spent nine days protecting her four tiny pups on the streets? She gave everything to keep them safe – and when she finally came to Wet Nose, her gentle, loving nature began to shine.
Petal’s story touched so many hearts, but one message stood out from Lesley, who said “If she’s still there when I get back from Cape Town, she’s meant to be mine.” Petal waited three weeks, and when Lesley came back, Petal was still waiting.
Now renamed Miley (our Smiley Miley!), this once-worried mom is living her absolute best life! She’s already done her first Parkrun, loves car rides, enjoys long walks, and has decided that sharing the bed and couch is non-negotiable.
Lesley says: “She is so precious. It took her a day or two to accept that this is her forever home. She’s learnt so much in her first two weeks and is thoroughly enjoying discovering the joys of being a young dog with no worries. Thank you Wet Nose for giving us our beautiful Miley baby!”
We couldn’t be happier seeing how far she’s come.
