When we got the call about a dog lying near the TotalEnergies just outside of Moloto, we didn’t know what we would find. What we arrived to was Jackie – a 2-year-old dog who was incredibly weak, exhausted, and covered in ticks and fleas. She had clearly been struggling for a long time, and she needed help fast.
Jackie was brought straight back to our clinic, where treatment started immediately. With proper care, medication, good food, and a whole lot of love, this brave girl slowly began to change. Day by day, she grew stronger. Her eyes became brighter. Her tail started to wag again.
Today, Jackie is a completely different dog.
She is full of life, loves to run, play, and soak up attention from people. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has such a gentle, happy nature. Jackie is one of those dogs who just fit in wherever she is. She would suit almost any family and would make a wonderful companion.
Jackie has already survived so much. All she needs now is a forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and part of a family.
