She went from dodging cars to asking strangers for cuddles.

One minute Socks was running alongside the R104, dangerously close to the traffic, and the next minute a kind lady stopped her car to help.

The lady had been visiting Wet Nose and was on her way back to Pretoria when she spotted a little dog running alongside the road. Without hesitating, she pulled over, got out of her car, and safely picked Socks up before anything could happen to her.

Although Socks was a little nervous in the beginning, it took almost no time at all for her to open up to the woman who rescued her. This lady turned her car around and brought Socks straight back to Wet Nose.

Ever since that day, her little tail has not stopped wagging.
Socks is only 10 months old, and runs around like life is the most exciting thing in the world. She will also climb onto your lap whenever she gets the chance.

She is affectionate, full of energy, and absolutely adores human attention. Whether she’s zooming across the grass, sitting by your side, or asking for scratches with that big smile on her face, Socks brings joy everywhere she goes.
