Taki has the kind of intelligence that needs direction.

Recently, Taki, a 4-year-old Malinois X, showed up at a plot in Vaalbank, not far from us. The family there tried to help him, but they already had dogs of their own and couldn’t keep him. So they gave us a call, and that’s how Taki landed up in our care.

From the very beginning, one thing about him became clear very quickly… this boy does not believe in sitting still for long.

Taki is constantly ready for action. The second his kennel door opens, he is up and moving, ears perked, eyes focused, waiting to see what’s next. He LOVES being outside, loves exploring, and absolutely thrives when he has space to move around.

Underneath all that energy is a dog who is incredibly smart. The more time we spent with him, the more we realised just how trainable he really is. He already listens to quite a few basic commands and picks things up surprisingly fast. He actually enjoys learning and working with people. You can see his brain constantly ticking, constantly wanting something to do.

For the right person, especially somebody who understands Malinois personalities and their energy levels, Taki could be an absolutely incredible companion. He just needs somebody willing to give him the guidance, structure, exercise, and love he deserves.
