On the 31st of January, Buddy arrived on a plot in Rayton as if he were searching for something—or someone. This adorable 3-year-old Maltese X was in good condition, with no ticks, no signs of neglect, and a heart full of love. There was no indication of where he had come from, no frantic searching for a way back, just a quiet, hopeful presence. He didn’t seem hungry, he wasn’t desperate, but he also didn’t have a place to call home. Could it be that he was dumped? We may never know… but what we do know is that Buddy deserves better.
He is calm and quiet, simply enjoying the company of those around him. His favorite place to be? Curled up in your lap, soaking in all the love and attention he can get.
