Three little dogs were found wandering the streets of Rayton, but it’s clear they belong to someone.

These three were found wandering together on the corner of Gobey and Prinsloo Street in Rayton. Thankfully, a kind-hearted family stopped to help. They drove around the area asking residents if anyone recognised the dogs, posted on local WhatsApp groups, and shared them on Facebook in the hope that someone would come forward, but nobody did.

Two of them were still wearing little jerseys when they were found, and none of them are underweight. The family kept them safe overnight, making sure they had water and a place to rest before bringing them to us.

Situations like this are also a reminder of just how important it is to microchip your pets. A registered microchip gives shelters and veterinarians a way to quickly identify owners and get lost pets back home where they belong.
